How are my contributions invested?

The College Savings Plan of Nebraska offers 4 "Age Based Portfolios" that become more conservative the older the beneficiary gets, 6 "Target Portfolios" that keep the same asset allocation over the life of the portfolio, and 20 "Individual Fund Portfolios" with each portfolio investing in a single mutual fund. The portfolios contain funds from well-known mutual fund families. Once an account is established, the account owner can change the investment election once per calendar year or upon the change of a beneficiary.

What funds are used?
Nebraska's program offers well-known funds from a number of fund companies. The Plan has been designed to offer diversity and flexibility to the college saver. Check out the Investment page for more information.

What level of earnings can I expect on my investments?
Returns on the investment will depend on the investment option you select when you open the account. Investment results will vary based on market performance.
